Obituary for Lawrence E. Wright

Jamestown -

Lawrence E. Wright Sr., 68, of Greenhurst, formerly of Conewango and East Randolph, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 in UPMC-WCA Hospital.

Lawrence was born July 2, 1949 in Salamanca, New York, the son of the late Frank Nathan and Beulah Mae (Brisley) Wright.

He was a graduate of Randolph Central School and had previously worked for Cherry Creek Woodcrafters in Cherry Creek as a Truck Driver and at the Jeffrey Wright Dairy Farm in Conewango. His interests included working with his hands and wood working.

He is survived his son; Lawrence Wright Jr. of Lancaster, NY, a grandson; Dakota (Elizabeth) Wright of Fort Hood, TX, great grand-daughter Emilia Wright of Texas, two brothers, Ray
(Cathy) Wright of Cattaraugus and Francis Wright of Bradenton, FL and a sister-In-Law, Patricia Wright of Albany, Oregon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lawrence was preceded by his parents and six siblings, Norman Wright, Florence Wright, Helen Dick, Edith Holtz, Frank Wright Jr. and Howard Wright.

Visitation will not be observed. A memorial will be held at a later date, with a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home.
